Animal Adda was founded by Aishwarya Deshpande (that’s me!), an animal lover since birth. Growing up, animals were more than just companions to me—they were family. From rescuing puppies and kittens to finding them loving homes, my heart always belonged to the animal world. Whether it was a tiny frog, a soaring bird, a crawling spider, or a majestic horse, every creature brought me the immense joy and a deep sense of warm connection with them.

Despite of all this love, becoming a veterinarian wasn’t an option for me, as the animal injuries and their blood were just too overwhelming for my fragile little heart. And, like many other Indian families, the concept of a career in B.Sc. Zoology was unfamiliar to them, leading to a very little support. So instead of that, I pursued a BBA (IB) degree and took a corporate job in an MNC. But the corporate world lacked the one thing that mattered most to me—animals. It didn’t take long for me to realize that something was missing in my life.

That’s when I did some internet surfing, which led to the discovery of Animal Training, a field that perfectly blended my passion with a purpose. While working with the animals, I noticed there’s a major gap in pet related awareness and understanding between the humans and the animals. And that realization sparked the idea of Animal Adda—a platform that would bring people and animals closer, educate the society, and promote a harmonious coexistence.
